The
Surgery
The health centre stands
on Plane Tree Road, opposite the Memorial Clock Tower. Parking can be
difficult: there is limited space in front of the surgery on Plane Tree
Road; behind it on Bay Street; and there is a large car park available
under the railway bridge and Beech Street.
In our large waiting area,
we have toilets, a public telephone and a children's play area. We would
like your children to enjoy this, but we do ask parents to supervise
their children closely (and to put the toys back!).
There is easy access for
the disabled, from Plane Tree Road. A wheelchair is available.
Access
To Health Records
You are entitled, by law,
to have access to your medical records which were written after 1st
November 1991. You must apply in writing and a charge of £10.00,
plus any photocopying fees incurred, will be made. The doctor is entitled
to withhold any information which they consider could be detrimental
to you.
