Volunteer Academy

The Carers Service Volunteer Academy enables those interested in giving their time to help others the oppor tunity to find where their interests and talents lay.

‘Open Awards’ accredited training offers over 6 weeks an opportunity for volunteers to access taster sessions in the many diverse areas of work within the Carers Service.

Sessions Include:

• Confidentiality & Data Protection
• Safeguarding
• Health and Safety
• Equality and Diversity
• Customer Service
• Summary Session

NEW & EXISTING VOLUNTEERS WHO HAVE NOT UNDERTAKEN THE COURSE WELCOME

Completion of the course is acknowledged at our graduation ceremony where certificates are awarded
